I’m Jonathan Vogt (Surprise!), a narrative designer and copywriter with over 6 years of experience. I’ve managed content for 2 “Top-20 Grossing” apps on the App Store and a “Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential” company. 

I graduated from Champlain College with a BS in Professional Writing, focusing on interactive narrative. While there, I helped pioneer the creation of a Minor in Interactive Narrative. “I’m passionate about interactive narrative” is a fine example of an understatement.

Video games and interactive media are the future of storytelling. In Slay the Dragon, Robert Bryant and Keith Giglio write, "Storytelling and video games should be peanut butter and chocolate. They should go together smoothly and creamily", and I can't agree more. Audiences are demanding meaningful and resonant stories—established and emergent. 

This extends to my copywriting philosophy: readers respond to voice and story. The secret sauce to engagement? Don’t talk at them; speak with them. I’m an expert in tailoring copy to target audiences and delivering impactful, engaging, and persuasive content.

Now, to humanize myself: I grew up in rural New England, my favorite color is lavender, and my friends joke that I’m a “cat whisperer.” As a North Carolina native, I bleed blue for the Tarheels, and I’m a sucker for David Sedaris’s wit.
